  Only one (out of four) of the waiting staff noticed our distress and attempted to quell it by holding the door so that it would not 'bang'. We persevered through our main course and were generous enough, to the 'company', to enjoy dessert, at an alternative table, which was suitable enough. A simple piece of maintenance, hardly rocket science, would have made a much more satisfactory luncheon experience. It's very sad that some people believe, their less than satisfactory behavior, can be foisted upon everyone!

  Highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful views and the staff cannot do enough for you. Friendly, helpful just great. The cabins are lovely too!

  Restaurant section has nice decor and atmosphere. Seasonal menu is diverse and celebrates local flavours. Reasonable priced. Friendly wait staff. Lovely views of the coast.

  We attended the Victory Hotel to celebrate my birthday. The food was acceptable! We were, most unfortunately, seated next to the door, leading to the 'outside dining area'. As we attempted to enjoy our meal, we were persistently distressed by the bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, banging, of this exterior door.

  We never stop tiring of this establishment. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff; good menu selections; and the food is - continues to be - absolutely delicious. Beware: the prices are not cheap...but neither is the experience!

  Great food, we had the Summer 2018 group function menu for our Christmas function. Great selection of wines. And the view!
